Why don't you guys just run without the o-ring? I do, works great, doesn't suck air into the shock and seals up nicely.

I haven't had any issues and have repeatedly opened and closed bleeder. I am using socket head screws though, don't know if that helps or you may just be tightening screw a bit much.

I ran my car with the Big Bores today again at WCRC. Ended up running white rear and green front springs. Car was dialed but I drive poorly and finished 4th in the Main. I had to rebuild my transmission today and replace the bearings and idler gear as a couple of the stock bearings fell apart and the idler gear was badly worn...the car is now super quiet!

Have any of you guys tried the Epic D3.5 17.5 in ur cars? My buddy loaned me his brand new one to try out.

Stop at any local Auto parts store and pickup a gasket kit for $1-$3. I had a "make your own" gasket kit left over from my 73 chevy and used some left over scraps for the bleed screw.
I used my shock piston drills to drill a small hole. Screw the bleeder screw in and trim around the screw head. Cheap, easy and quick fix...or use nothing at all. Guys have been running it with nothing and say they don't leak.

I am running the ION4 (Fantom labaled d3.5) with the 12.5mm high torque spec rotor.
The track is small (40x70) and I am geared at 75/33 with full timing.

This setup is very good with great pull out of the corner and plenty top end.

What are you reading that is negative. All the posts that I read are people saying how much better their car ran with them. I did not see anyone that did not like the handling
