Default Losi Mini Baja help

So after about 6 years I unpacked and turned on my mini Baja. Ran for about 30secs and died. So I went and got a new battery from my local hobby shop, a losi 7.4v 20c 659mah 2s.

Well it ran for a min then it would not run. Steering works esc lights up when throttle is pulled just no go.

Any help or suggestions would be awesome

Thanks guys

It was the stock motor from when I got it so I'm sure that's the issue. Once themini8 is up to par I'll turn this into a 50mph plus street car.

Using an iPad for know got a new place my pc isn't setup yet

Building a track in the field behind our house I'll post pics of the space soon
