Angry Mini

Hello i need help with the motor setup in my stock but aluminum towered kmi (kyosho mini inferno).

Recently i de-laminated my cm20 6800kv motor
I was wondering if i could use a much lower kv and much lower gearing and lose my heat problem.
it was under tourqued from the beggining.
Could i use a castle cm26 motor and lose heat problems

By the way when i say cm20 and cm26 i am talking about diffrent part numbers for castle creations motors

Anyway i am just wondering if i could lose my heat problems so if i buy the same type of motor (diffrent KV) i could not get this problem i have already bought a heatsink fan so that will help but right now because my motor wont run.

sorry if you have seen this on on road fourm so i accidenty posted this on the wrong catagory so i am not trying to double post it is just that i dont know how to delete a post so i am sorry for the inconvienence

No worries, I took care of the duplicate, & I'm also moving this one to the Mini/Micro section, I think the guys that post there will be of great help(they've probably tried about every possible motor/ESC combo by now, I'm sure they can suggest something good).....

Going lower KV and lower gearing will help the heat but you will be a lot slower. A cm26 is larger than the cm20 and will help with the heat issue.
