I have a duratrax ice charger and just recently I have started having a problem with it. When i go to charge a battery it comes up with a message saying "input voltage error", has this ever happened to anyone before? how do I fix it? or is the power supply broken?

Check the power supply voltage with a volt meter without & with the charger connected & when you try to start the charger.
Connect it to a car battery & try it.
If it works with the battery & not the power supply, then there is a problem with the supply. If it does not work on the car battery it is likely the charger.
Now it could be a bad connection, plugs go bad. Any of them can. It could also be the battery, not likely but possible.
Hopefully it is something simple.

Ive checked with a volt meter and the power supply reads 13.8 volts which is wrten on the power supply, but doesn't work...
I tried it connected to a car battery, like you suggested and it worked. So is it time for a new power supply or can I fit the one I have?
