Thanks, I was hoping it was a newer edition but didn't expect it to be, as long as parts are available I'll keep it. But it does have aluminum shock towers, CF servo tray, aluminum upper servo plate. I guess those were upgraded by the previous owner.
What would be some good upgrades from the newer editions that would fit on this buggy?

Those arent upgrades. Thats what came on the original rc8. I'd perhaps get the big bore shocks and blue anodized towers that come on the rc8b.

This is an rc8 rtr with a cf radio plate,blue shock stand offs,and the aluminum top plate,If it was the ft version it would have smaller bore threaded shocks,and cf shock towers,and titanium turnbuckles
