Same here.After a few runs on a set of proline ccell foams with m4 fuzzies on proline wheels it feels like there's nothing in there also just happened to a set of fronts with proline scrubs,one of my tires feels like the foam is wore out to nothing.Doesn't happen all the time but just recently switched to the red aka's but these feel a little to firm,the prolines closed cells feel great when new but i'm done having the foams where out before the tires.Used to happen when I ran sct trucks also.

What is the difference between a hole n your wheel, or a hole in your rubber?

I think how it works is the hole in the rim lets the foams dry if they get any moisture in the tire ad the hole in the rubber lets the tires breathe and the foam doesn't break down as fast. But I'm not sure

The holes are primarily a tuning option. More or less holes will effect the amount of air that can be pushed out or sucked back in. The second attribute is it will let dirt and moisture out.

Now if you have to many holes it can result in more dirt and moisture to get in and the foams will deteriorate faster.

Best way to clean a tire is with a damp rag. Best way to rid any dirt is to run them.

Just about got my B4.1 WC ready to go. I have a Tekin Redline 13.5 motor and I installed 81T spur gear. What size pinion gear should I run? I mainly run on a small to mid size indoor clay track.

I also have a question on the B44 rear arms for a B4.1, what is differant about them? I see on Ryan Cavalieri set-up he has them listed on his vehicle.

B44 arms are softer than carbon but stiffer than the new b4.1 plastic.

+1 My Pro4 Losi beats my foams up a little after a long long time of running them. But thats normal.

When I run closed cell inserts I put 3 equally spaced 1/16 holes in the tire and 2 holes 1/8 in the wheel. When I run dual stage I only vent the wheel. If you have an air compressor, get a mounted tire (with no holes) with a closed cell foam and blow air into the wheel hole. It traps air between the foam and tire. Tire ballooning does the same thing.

with non closed cell, does it matter where the hole is? I know that if water gets inside, the holes in the tire is better. but otherwise?

I actually did call them...got a voice mail...left a voice mail with the details about the two different sizes in three different packages of them (two rear sets,one front) got no return anything from them at all. I have had real good ones in the past, but lately they have been a let down.

Closed cell foams require tire and rim holes so they can function and breathe properly. Regular foams require rim holes only for the same purposes.
