It's more than them being a bigger bore. The new design makes the shocks way smoother than the v2s. It's all up to you if you want them or not, but build wise, they are quite better than past shocks.

I told you all last week that there would be a press release on the BB's and availability of purchase soon after.

Was texted this afternoon by said driver to check amains website to pre-order, which im not. I like the way my car handles now just fine with the Avid Collar and Kyosho spring mod. Car doesn't bottom out anywhere except when I screw up and flatland. And for $119.00 a set, I can get Kyosho Big Bores instead.

Hartsons shocks did not look much different all those many months ago when he started testing them. Kept getting the same line, release is postponed due to no springs, and now we find out everyone is using Kyosho springs anyways. Check out Cav's setup from Nationals.

I can't say for sure. But it'll be both

How are the Kyosho's better? Because the AE's don't have the plastic hybrid shock cap? Or maybe the O-ring cartridge?

I think these shocks look awesome aesthetically and design.

And for those complaining about price the Kyosho BB's are $83 a pair on Amain. When compared to the price of the V2's, these shocks have an aluminum cap and an aluminum o-ring cap along with several off-set spring cups!

Price seems reasonable to me! I just hope it all gets put into a kit so that for a little extra money you get a whole car!

Cause they are easy as hell to rebuild, bleed, change oil or change piston

Not saying they are better but the looks of the new AE BB seem to be just like a V2 just Big bore.
