I race at the same track Hartson, Wallnutz, and a few others whom are in the know. Was told last week a press release would be forthcoming and availability to get the shocks soon after. Was texted this afternoon by said driver to check amains website to pre-order, which im not. I like the way my car handles now just fine with the Avid Collar and Kyosho spring mod. Car doesn't bottom out anywhere except when I screw up and flatland. And for $119.00 a set, I can get Kyosho Big Bores instead.

Hartsons shocks did not look much different all those many months ago when he started testing them. Kept getting the same line, release is postponed due to no springs, and now we find out everyone is using Kyosho springs anyways. Check out Cav's setup from Nationals.
i was watching some racing on liverc, and saw something that caught my eye.

I think these shocks look awesome aesthetically and design.
And for those complaining about price the Kyosho BB's are $83 a pair on Amain. When compared to the price of the V2's, these shocks have an aluminum cap and an aluminum o-ring cap along with several off-set spring cups!
Price seems reasonable to me! I just hope it all gets put into a kit so that for a little extra money you get a whole car!
Not saying they are better but the looks of the new AE BB seem to be just like a V2 just Big bore.
