Default dougwalter911: Scammer?

http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...arter-box.html

This guy has been logging in frequently ever since I committed to buy and sent payment. I've made multiple attempts to communicate with no response from him. Never received the battery I paid for. And, it looks like he did the same thing to someone else who also cannot get any response.

I've filed a claim on Paypal which I *hope*gets my money back. According to Paypal records, a shipping label was created but the item was never actually sent. I would think this claim would obviously go in my favor, but maybe not? I hope that generating a label isn't considered proof of shipment.

Doug Walter, if you see this, please just refund my money. At this point, I don't even want to deal with you, I just want my money back.

Looks like he frequents one rc Raceway (based on his posts). I'd post in that forum and call him out on the fact that he's a thief.

I thought about that, but I won't because I don't want to be accused of 'stalking' him or some such nonsense.

This whole thing seems really strange...the guy had good feedback before. Doesn't make any sense that he suddenly starts blatantly ripping people off. I thought maybe something happened to him but *somebody* keeps logging in on his account and I saw where he posted about a race.

Another PM sent, with less patience.

Ignoring mods....I don't like wasting my time playing these games.

I realize that the forum and mods can't do anything outside of what they control here on the forum. But, is there any consequence here for this? I still have no response from this guy, and I haven't received what I paid for or a refund.

.......yes there will be

We don't play judge and jury on transactions, for the most part. But it is within my power to suspend accounts for other reasons.

I'll leave it at that.

Well guys, I still have no response to any of my inquiries to the seller, I still don't have the item I paid for, and I still have no refund.

Also funny is the fact that this guy is logging in almost every day . Not posting but still coming here. He's like "hey, I'll scam some peeps and then watch the aftermath". I just have one thing to say...Karma is a #$%^&
