What Car Is This?

I was in a local hobby shop today when a guy brought this car in looking for parts. I have no idea who or when this was made.

It's probably a Kyosho Mantis, but it could be one of the clones that appeared about the same time. I think GV had one.

Thanks, I think it is a Mantis. I've just never seen a suspension spring done the way this car is. With the spring on the hingepin.

The Tamiya M-01/2 had the same thing as well as a monoshock either end.
