Ok, I know i asked this question before, but i was hoping to see some pictures.

Can some of you that ran the radio antenna INSIDE the car please link a pic? I was working on it last night. I used a heat gun and made an "L" shaped antenna that is about 1 in tall and 4 inches long. Then on the vertical (1inch) side I used a drill bit to put a small hole in the side of the tube. Th then ran the wire through the side hole and through the tube. it looks ok, but the body when mounted pushed the antenna down and into the transponder. Not sure if that will be an issue. I do no wish to go through the chassis holes, because it is really cutting up the wire. From what I read in the manual, the airtronics receiver only receives from the 2 inches at the end and the rest is just coax. right?

I don't have a picture but I just took mine and wrapped it back and fourth to make about a 2" piece of antenna and then put heat shrink tubing over it to keep the "bundle" together

I'll try and get a picture tonigh at the track

Here is mine. Run it similar to this on all my cars. I use a lighter to heat the tube up and bend it where I want it. Let it cool and done. I make sure the receiver wire is in the tube when I do it. Otherwise the tube will collapse in the bends and you wont be able to get the receiver wire through.

yeah, mine is kinda like yours, you brought yours inside though over the battery. I was a little worried about the battery wires causing interference.

Never had a single issue. I run on a large outdoor 1/8th scale sized track.

I finally have collected all my parts to get my car moving. I finished all soldering late last night and i only have a couple things left to do. Apparently my worlds manual is missing some pages because it told me to refer to page 40 for servo mounting instructions, but my book ends at page 36.

I already have the servo installed but i don't know which servo horn letter to use out of the 4 given with the kit. Im running the Team Associated Ds1313. Any help would be apprecitated. I'm assuming the associated servo horn included with the servo doesn't get used due to it's design.

Use the Futaba Horn for the XP series servos.

Ok since Avid has had their springs out of stock for awhile and I can get some Losi springs for fairly cheap I decide to go ahead and try them. Before I buy them I want to make sure I have everything I need:

All I need to run the TLR 22 springs is the following correct?:
(2)TRA 3768 - Traxxas Shock Spring Retainers (Upper & Lower) (how are they held up top?)
Then any 22 Buggy springs

These are the springs I have for a high traction surface let me know what you think:
TLR5172 - Team Losi Racing Front Shock Spring Set (2.5 Rate/Red) (TLR 22)
TLR5166 - Team Losi Racing Rear Shock Spring Set (1.8 Rate/White) (TLR 22)
TLR5167 - Team Losi Racing Rear Shock Spring Set (2.0 Rate/Yellow) (TLR 22)

I'm hoping I will like this mod because it's so much cheaper then Avid springs.

what kind of track? i think when i ran TLR springs in the past i always used silver fronts and either white or yellow rear.

edit: i missed it. u may want to pick up some silver fronts too
edit2: you use the stock spring collars and just slide the traxxas collars under it. also, i know many have said that the cup that comes w/ the collars fit, but we use the TLR22 cups.

i would get the Avid upper spring collars. I was advised that the other ones give too much making it inconsistent

The traxxas lower cups fit very very tight. I run the Losi TLR5095 Cups.
