They're all connected internally anyways, so it doesn't matter which port you plug it into.

So I am going to try the C hub mod. I bought the carbon fiber c hubs and I am going to attach them to the rrear bearing carriers and then attach the turn buckle in the center hole of the c hub. What I am fuzzy on is this. Some people say to raise the ballstud on the c brase between 3 to 8 mm. To anybody who has did this how much should I raise it and does it really give good rear traction.

That is for the SC10 4x4..On the 2wd cars you are actually lowering the link on the hub and want to shave the u brace flat effectively lowering the link inboard as well.

When used on the SC104x4 you bolt the c hub to the original hub upside down which raises the outer link, thus you would need to raise the inner link (usually anywhere from 5-8mm) to match.

The C hub is already lowered...it is lower than the A hub. You shave the raised section off...about .060". Just make it flush with the rest of the brace.

so I shave the u brace down to the plate that the brace sits on and do I have to cut the rear turnbuckle to make it fit between the inner and outer ballstuds

You shave the nub where the ball studs mount down so that it is flush with the rest of the brace. You dont have to cut the turnbuckle. Just mount the C hub to the carrier (only works with the FT aluminum carriers) and then install the link.

When you buy the c-hub, it gives you instructions on how and where to shave the u brace. Its really simple.

I got a used SC10 the other day. It has FT shocks in the rear. However, I noticed that the springs are rubbing on the tie rods.. pretty badly in fact. The previous owned installed RPM arms all around. Any ideas why the springs are rubbing, and what to do about it?

So bigger diameter springs will clear the turnbuckles?
The reason the AE springs rub is that the springs fold in the middle when the compress. Other wise they will have more clearance. Going with a Losi or Avid spring is better for performance but will still rub. I have yet to see any spring not rub the turnbuckle.

He's talking about the spring rubbing the turnbuckle not the shock body.

I think they rub the turnbuckles more when you run more toe-in (from the arm mounts, not the hubs), too.

Keeps dirt from building up on hte spring or turnbuckle in the rub area

I tried those spring stops but they dont fit snug against the shock body. Theyre a bit too big so even though it holds the losi spring fine, it still wiggles a bit around the shock body. Are you guys having the same results?

Also, is there a step by step write up on the C-Hub process? Sounds a little complicated, im still learning.
