Why you changed original front axle for this?????????, the original from the car is much better!!!... O sorry, you like to play with 180 mm little toys...

Perhaps like me, he likes his F1 car to look more scale realistic, which the Tamiya front end achieves.

I will be getting a F109 pretty soon (used) that already has most/all of the suspension/handling upgrades I noticed skimming through that thread. It has a revtec 21.5 but I need an esc for it. What would you recommend? Going by my club rules it must be roar spec/VTA legal. I've read for F1 a smaller esc is better to try and fit, so would the Novak edge be a wise choice? Another question on this particular chassis, should I upgrade from stock to the carbon and would the handling be that much better?

I LOVE MY Vir.2
Today was a GOOD DAY!
I took my Vir. 2 out and got some laps in. The car was surprisingly stable right out of the gate. I’ll be honest I really wasn’t expecting it to handle that well. My laps weren’t pretty or fast or consistent, or smooth, but they were fun. I’m still getting use to everything, batteries, brushless, driving, radio…who knew the radios had come so far since the Futaba Magnum…
Anyways, I think I need to throw out some thanks to FMW, RedbullFIXX, RTypeC, Brad P, and everyone else for the help, encouragement, support and subtle nudges (RBF ).
Peace!

Don't bother. The carbon fibre parts sell on the fact they are carbon fibre and are seen to be the thing to have, but in reality it just takes away grip and any I have seen have had the rear side link fixing ripped off in an accident.

Does anybody know the compound of the Tamiya 54135 pre mounted foam tires? Would they be considered hard, medium, or soft?

The fronts are HBR Mediums, marked on the package and the rears are Supersoft but not marked on the package.
