Default Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR on M06

Here is the Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR on M06 chassis. Note this is without any cutting or modifications to body.

Back sits a little high. If you remove dummy engine and open up engine bay floor, the body will fit correctly.

I run a Ballistic 21.5 in mine. I noticed gear mesh is a bit sensitive.. depending on which screw i tighten first

So i figured best to pick up the Aluminium motor mount. Problem is still the same. If don't use the gear cover, the mesh is fine.. so gear cover seems to be distorting things.

Also, the gear box plate will not work with a Ballistic.. the motor tabs will come into contact with aluminium. So you would either have to cut the ballistic tabs or mill out a notch in the aluminium, which would ruin nice blue anodised look

Are their any TCS setups posted for carpet for the m06?

I have found some setup sheets in Japanese on the tamiya.com website but can not determine if they are for outdoor or indoor use.

Tomorrow I will be getting my alfa romeo m06. Really excited I usually race 2wd buggy but I am getting this for fun plus it would look good on a shelf..

I have a savox servo, sphere esc and novak 10.5 I can throw in...

Any gearing suggestions?

I personally would not go over a 13.5 in this car. I run mine with either a 21.5 or 17.5

Gearing, you are limited.. highest pinion is a 20T. So no worries on over gearing it.

You will definitely need to pick up a set of oil filled dampers either plastic or TRF.. The stock dampers in the M06 kit will not handle for anything.

Hello everyone. I just purchased an M06 and I am trying to make it scaler look on a BMW 2002 turbo body. I would like to know where to get these rims for the M06.

http://world-viewer.com/photos/bmw-2002-turbo/09/

They are gold with polished lip.

Thank you

Your best bet would be these:

http://www.abchobbyusa.com/110mwheels-meshwhite.aspx

You will have to paint them gold and chrome the silver

Another option is:

https://www.tamiyausa.com/product/it...oduct-id=53468

But these are 1/10 scale, not M chassis, so you're ride height will be off.

Excuse my ignorance, I noticed most of the wheels/tires come as a combo where the tires are already mounted. can you point me in the right direction for mounting tires and which tires to get? The first link are just rims. Thanks

Here are the options from abc USA

I ran the N Racing slicks .. They're very good.

I appreciate your help! Do those tires need to be glued to the rim with CA glue? Sorry for the stupid questions, I own a stampede 4x4 so that's what I'm used to doing on my off-road truck.
