Hey I just got a Cirtix Stock Club race + Ultra sportsman 17.5T V3.0 Combo and I don't see anything that talks about setting the low voltage cut off for 2s? Can I set it? Will the voltage cut off by itself? Or will my TC5 go up in flames?

Hi solara,
I was trying to get a good set up with the gt2 lpf and 21.5 reedy motor but just had no success. Tried pretty much everything. But I did notice that things got worse when I turned the timing acc down lower. I know this setting changes how fast the boost is applied, but does this setting also shorter or lengthen the rev range ?
Could you recommend any settings for a mid to large outdoor asphault track with a long straight and a few tight and a few flowing corners?
And in the manual it says to never exceed 64 degrees of timing with the boost and turbo, but does this include motor can timing? Say if I had 30 boost 24 turbo and 10 degrees on the motor , would that be TOO much timing all together ?
Thanks

The timing ACC does not limit the top RPM of the motor at all, it only dictates how fast the timing gets added. It can have a huge affect on the mid range and even low range power of the motor. However, going too low on the setting can easily bog the motor and create a lot of heat.
64* of timing is the max the ESC can apply, and it does not include motor endbell timing. It is common to use over 64* of timing total when you include the motor timing, especially in stock classes.
It really depends on how hot "warm" is to you. Check it with a temp gun. It's best to run the fan if you are in doubt.

We have tried all the options Mod and the stock with the SP USB program card and a Win7 PC. It still doesn't have the additional options. I will post a pic soon as I can.

Can someone with knowledge or first hand experience, tell me if this setup will be ok, or likely to end in tears! , And reason why. Thanks.
1/10th, V2.1 GT prostock, 8T sensored 4000kv motor, 3s 5000mah 40c lipo, 8.1FDR on-road, was planning on leaving the stock firmware on but limiting boost/turbo to 5 points each. I could change to Mod firmware if recommended (I cant think of a reason why if settings are kept mild? - Maybe someone has insight?) . If I keep a close eye on temps will I be OK?

Quote "Fail ! if you read the speedpassion site, the speedy you mention handles only from 9.5T on 2S (this is what is recomended). 8T with 3S ? what are you running ? ".
Thanks for the reply, checked site & downloaded a manual also. Found that the lowest turn motor for use with the GT2.1 prostock ESC on 3S is 9.5T, but using a motor less than 10.5T with stock software will damage the motor.
I have been using the 8.5T(sensored) motor on 3S with a 60A hobbywing non-sensored ESC, without problem so far (about 90 mins total runtime), so thought a 120A Sensored ESC would be a much better match, (but I dont know how the software works between the 2 of them).
The odd configuration is due to having no track(we use a marked out carpark), club or rules in my location, we just make do with what we have, I guess I was hoping that someone else has used the 8.5T with the prostock speedy with success, but knew it was a long shot!
