I'm running a shorty, and my track is very bumpy at the moment, so I'm running yellow fronts, and white rears! When we have a fresh layout, I usually run red fronts and yellow rears.

Yes the kit did come with lead weight.
So does the weight change that much?
I just finished building my Worlds and yep it comes with a lead block. They need to give u a pic on where it goes though. It just says to put it in before u install the tranny. I finally figured it out. It goes under the rear shock tower and when u put the tranny in, it kinda locks it n there
How much does the ballast weight weigh? Do a lot of people run it in their cars? I've been running it off and on, I couldn't decide which I liked better. A couple people said they think it needs to be run to get it to handle right, but other people have said they don't think so, I didn't know what to believe. I'm assuming that it will be beneficial to run it if they're giving it to you in the Worlds Kit?

Only way to know if you like it or not is to run it and see how it feels to you...
I run full size packs with the Avid springs. On a medium to high bite clay track, I ended up with yellow front and white rear (35wt/30wt Associated oils with #2 pistons). I initially ran white all the way around but switching to the yellows gave me a bit more steering. From there I pushed the battery back 1 thin pad because I had a tad too much steering and now I'm very happy. Havent tried the reds up front yet, may give that a shot tonight.

I've not tried it but I'm not sure I can see the point either. What was there about it that appealed to you? It looks slick, that's true. But I'm not sure there is a real reason in kicking out the coin for it.
