The New Werks B5 .21 Racing Engine
#8221
Just give him a bit of time to get used to the new cars from Agama and watch what he will do! This I think is only his second race since he got their truggy and before that he had not ran one for 3-4 years.

Thanks to Ron for helping me get my B5 pro up and running again.
I really love this engine. You seem to get more and more runtime after getting about 2 gallons through it. Not to mention you get all the low end you can ever want.
Tried one in a buggy this weekend, and I always thought it would be too much in buggy. I have one in my truggy and it can be a handful. But I really liked it in buggy as well, but then again, I love a great bottom
Nice mid is good, and having too much on top is overrated

Which is a better "all-round" pipe - the 2013 or 2058? I don't have a Werks engine(yet), but need a pipe for a new RB Fire 11, and have heard both pipes are good on it. I guess I would get whichever fits better to other engines. I have a handfull of various brands..
From what I understand the 2013 is more for bottom end with not as good fuel mileage, whereas the 2058 is "smoother" with better mileage and maybe a better top end? Seem to see a lot of people running the 2058 on all kinds of engines...

I love my 2058 pipe on each of my Werks engines, B5 Pro & B6 Pro and I also run the 2058 on the Novarossi P5 & Banito, awsome all round pipe and great run time, now with all that being said I also have the 2013 pipe and only ever put it on the B5 from time to time if I want that extra bottom end grunt from the engine

Something I experienced and it may not apply to all is that my engine was easier to tune and runs better with the Byrons 3000 9% oil and a Werks #5 plug. You can break it in with the 11% oil, but after break in, if you are finding that it may be a little finicky, try 9% oil.
Like I said, may not apply to all, but just found 9% to run a little cleaner.
