I believe that rc hobbies is a place not for racers but people who are starting in the hobby but there are some shops out there just for the racers. I know one very well and sells cheap at walter rc hobby on fairfield rd guildford west.

Rc Hobbies in particular and RC in Australia in general are all slow, irresposible, cluless and so expensive that we should switch to all US store those are cheaper, faster and more professional!

I call Rc hobbies 10 times a day, no one picks up the phone, no voice message, no call back, nothing

Just because you're not content with your experiences with RC Hobbies, doesn't mean we should all jump ship on Aussie hobby shops altogether and send our hard earned overseas.

I've received outstanding service from Red Star Hobbies of late, and wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone.

I just purchased some parts from them. It did take a week for them to post it but it turned up the day after that.
