if I ran this it would prolly have a custom Plymouth Fury grill painted/printed on front as well as possibly lexan extensions made for the rear to better replicate http://www.plymouthcentral.com/files/Christine01.jpg

I think that gets you closer to Starsky and Hutch than it does Christine. Do it how you want though.

oops MS paint apparently made it hard to replicate. It will have a Fury grill, a closer paint analog to the real car (side color), and (maybe) lexan add-ons on the side that will simulate the fins of a '58 Fury.

Tamiya has an excellent selection of colors to choose from and their paint bonds better (does not flake off) than the Pactra rattle can paints.

Looks very nice too My local track races outdoor under lights at night and I've found the light blue and white colour combo is easy to see but still looks realistic on a VTA car without having to go to flouro colours.

I can't say for the Pactra as I haven't used it but I agree about the Tamiya paints toughness, I had a Mini Cooper body that after many race meetings was completely beat up, cracked and dented, but almost none of the paint had peeled off, I think the paint was the strongest part of the body left!!

And if you were wondering what were factory colors:

Sorry, I'm a chevy guy but I'm sure there is something similar for Ford, Mopar & AMC

I wonder if that shade of blue would work for the Gulf light blue and orange color scheme? Also, what shade of orange would you use?

Anyone?
