RC10B4.1 FT/WC
I have driven a truck and a buggy with BB springs fyi. Did it feel better? Yeah but not so much better that im gonna go spend $$ on bb's and spend countless hours trying to match what I already have. I will wait for the AE BB's. Then I know they make the car feel the way it's meant to and they do all the testing.

cost a lot? Not really maybe 30-40 bucks total
Gonna wait for AE's to release the BB shocks? It's gonna be a while.
The avid springs made me faster, I went from yellow/gray losi to red/red avid went up 5wt on the oils.. and Im only .4 slower then 4wd mod besT lap. just sayin kw's setup is the best (indoor clay)
Sorry, little engineer joke there!
Maybe white and white is to soft..i do run on med bite tho. I just hope i find .2 tenths to start getting closer to mod pace

.i cant speak on truck..in my case instead of tryin to match what i "already have" even tho i swore it was dialed at the time. i took the advice of others faster and more experienced that i trust and tried different springs to see how it affected the car and how it affected me driving it.And i feel i learned alot. Alot of people better than me are still using standard ae springs also, but i dont let that steer me away from trying to get my car better or more capable for me,,i invested less than 20 dollars to first put BB springs on my buggy..and it was one of the best 20 dollars i feel i have invested in the car..that did lead me to keep tryin to improve my car (cause for me it was working) wich made me want to have variations of springs so i could see how i like em.prior to that i just ran what was "meant" to be on there. im not sure if i know if my car "feels the way its meant too" but i know its way more capable for me than throwing it down with the wc set up sheet..makin improvments in my car and havin people come check my car cause the say it looks dialed has been one of the most rewarding things for me..especially if you worked hard on it
but your right the day the AE big bore shocks come out and i buy those i will be a even bigger fool ahaha

. I think "Meant" was the wrong word for me to use. What I meant was BB springs and shocks that were made and tested for this specific car not for bransd X or XX car and we try to make them work on ours. Beleive me when the AE BB's come out I will be all over it. I got to see them at a race 2 weeks ago and they look great and it just so happened the guy running them won the class at the event
. Anyway lets stop bickering and wasting thread space.

Just got my Losi springs (red front, yellow rear), Losi spring cups and Ghea collars in today. Installed the front already and noticed ima have to shave the front shock tower a bit for collar clearance. Gonna do that tomorrow along with finishing up the rears. Then time to try em out!

It may not be.
I do not believe anything till I see it or have it in my hand.
Time will tell
I do know the waiting game is getting old.
It wold be nice to have a clue on when a release date may be. So I don't go waste 60+ bucks on springs to then turn around and stick another 100 in your BB shocks.

I like this:
"Remember a Kimber is what you show your Friends a Glock is what you show your Enemies"
That's what the hobby is about, the latest and greatest. I don't want big bores. They'll add more weight, use more shock oil, and probably cost more to rebuild (just like the V2 does over the V1 for some reason). My "skinnies" are smooth enough for me. My driving is the biggest improvement I can make right now, and I'm sure the same can be said for the majority of us.
