Lando, I'm pretty sure racing is usually over between 4-5.

When the race was in Roseville, 2 hours from the SF airport I had time to stay for the Trophy Presentation and still make it to a 10pm flight in SF

That's awesome. This Reedy is looking to be epic!

Getting pumped for the drive down with my bro's. Norcal is amazing and really looking forward to returning.

Default Battery Question

I have an orion ORI 14043 / 5000 90c lipo I want to run. I bought the battery new just recently and it does not have the roar band. The battery is roar legal but did not come with a roar legal band on it. Will I be able to run the battery ??? It seems not all roar approved batteries carry this band and the race rules state the battery must have the band ?????

funny thing...i am in the same situation...the Orion packs ORI14044 do not have the Roar sticker on it..none of them do.
i bought two of which one is still sealed in the pack.

Are we allowed to use these?
on a side note..the orion are 90C burst ...45C continuous.

I freakin can't wait..
flight booked - check
hotel booked - check
race registered - check

Check the ROAR list to be absolutely certain the pack is approved. If there was a situation in which the sticker came off and the track wasn't sure if the battery was approved then they would defer to the list on ROAR's website.

Default roar band

I think the idea of the roar band is to assure the pack has not been tampered with the orions mentioned are approved but just don't come with a roar band.
