Default has anybody added a sensor to a sensorless motor?

Anybody tried this? It doesnt really look too hard but maybe a little pricey if you dont have the parts laying around.

How exactly do you think you would do that ?

Sensor board normally sits inside the motor can

Cheers

Basically , just stick it in there. It would have to be secured(probably screwed to the back),and the board would have to be spaced properly from the rotor. Some of the cheaper motors I have dealt with look like they might have enough room.It could probably even be epoxied or shoe gooed in.Not sure how to find 0* timing though.

I've been thinking about doing this myself. I'm interested to see the results if you do it.
