Default Mamba Max Pro question?

I just got my truck put together and noticed my esc is picking up reverse signal but is going forward. Any suggestions on what to do, not much experience with these. Pretty much esc is red when forward on transmitter, and green on reverse on transmitter. Any help would be awesome!

What motor are you using, Sensored or Sensorless?

So when you pull the trigger the red light comes on?
Sounds like the system was calibrated wrong, & servo reversing on the "TH" channel or "Channel 2" should be in the "Normal" position.
If that doesn't work reverse the ch2 & recalibrate.

Give that a try...

Running the castle 1410, ended up reversing the throttle on transmitter and reversing motor, that seemed to do the job for now. I will try you suggestion and get back to you. Thanks!

Yes Green should be forward... The 1410 is a great motor. If that goes the wrong way just reverse a wire (as you figured out).

Reversing a motor wire will not change the ESC setup

Need to reverse the throttle channel on the radio to get the setup to recognize the correct throotle / brake signals

Cheers

I know the motor wires don't effect the esc setup, it just seems that every time i get a new motor i have to switch the motor wires around to get it to work like it should. Even though the castle esc wires and motor wires are color-coded it just seems like i end up having to switch some wires around to get it to work properly. Is there any way to know which motor wire goes to which esc wire?

Order of the wires does not make any difference when running a sensorless motor

If it spins the wrong way simply swapping any two wires will reverse the rotation (or changing the motor direction within the ESC software)

If the ESC calibration is not recognizing the correct throttle / brake signal the throttle channel needs to be reversed on the radio

Cheers
