Would the HOBBYWING XERUN Black V2.1 Brushless Motor 150A ESC work good in my desc410r? I'm using a d3 550 3.5 turn. I just smoked a hobbywing 120 amp esc it was 190 eeek. Would this esc handle it better? Thanks

Looking at getting my first 1/8 scale buggy(Durango DEX408). The world of the larger ESC and motors is new to me. Looking at the Xerun ESCs should I just go with the 150a to make sure I have everything I need? I will be racing on a good sized outdoor track running 4s against nitro and other electric buggies. I have been looking at getting the Xerun 15a combo with the 1800 or 2250 sensored motor. I want something very reliable. nothing worse then the car not working right when you turn it on.
Here is a video of the track with its new layout for the summer:
Thanks for the help.

If it's a sensored motor unplug the sensor wire. For some reason u have to unplug the sensor wire to use the LCD box. Or if ur using an external BEC, plug the red wire back in to so u can change settings. Then set
it up per normal. I like the way u hook up the box thru the fan power supply on the SCT Pro ESC,
u just have to make up a servo wire with 2 males.

HW Xerun 150A with a Tekin 1900kv motor is a popular combo.
Or the Xerun 150A with the 2000kv motor. When selecting ur
servo just don't go over board (over 220oz) or you will need to
install an external BEC.

You would be best to get the sct pro esc as it can run in sensored or non sensored as the d3 motors are sensored . I run one in my desc410r . Great esc for the price

Falcon sekido is where I picked up mine. Ordered on Thursday, they shipped it on Friday and I had it on my doorstep on Monday. I live in Pennsylvania, couldn't be happier with there customer service. And they were more then helpful answering my questions.
