Default Tamiya ESC w/ external BEC?

Alrighty, interesting question. I picked up a Novak BEC to help out with the power hungry servo in my CC01. When running a BEC, you usually disconnect the red lead for the ESC at the receiver. Here's the tricky part: I'm using a Tamiya ESC and it has their unusual feature of 2 leads attaching to the receiver.

Do I disconnect the red leads on both? I'm stumped. Don't want to sacrifice any electronics to find out, y'know?

Default

Figured it out.

Removed red wire from regular 3 wire throttle servo lead from ESC. Eliminated 2 wire BEC lead from ESC. All the ESC really needs is the ground and signal wire.
