I liked the p4 over the p3 from os
but liking the orion #5 better
or #6 when is over 80 deg.
on different note anyone want to get in o ordering some ori82178 button and long bottom needle kits from out of country seems like the orion distrib. State side horizon cares not weather or not they get them in
Speed rc has them but are out of country

Im new to Orion motors, but not to Star motors, but i recently was given a Truhe edition engine, it needs to be rebuilt but i cannot find any information on information regaurding the piston and sleeve.
Any info would be awesome, just hope this engine is as good as my Nova BTT's have been.

Well the 7 port has a lot of top end so I would probably get the Orion 2013 pipe which will give you a nice bottom end but will tame your top end alittle. It will also give the engine a wicked sound.

Default Cody King motor bogging down

I need some help
I brought my RC here in Saudi
I've broken in my Cody King 21 CRF engine with 1 1/2 gallon sidewinder 20%
By mid range it keeps bogging down
Tried to lean it down on LSN it works fine on the bench but when i put in on track and rev it died again temp is 240 to 260 especially when i approach the jump halfway flying and come down engine died?
is the venturi will affect tuning too i used the standard 7 and used also 6.5 still the same effect, check the carb everything ok except the carb retainer o-ring is cut off, maybe this is the culprit, thus it affect the tuning too, i'm using nr5 the weather temp here is about 80 deg
please help!!!

Sounds like tune is way off also might have small air leak
take motor out remove back plate and carb clean both re in stall with motor seal i use lucky 7 but many high temp engine sealents work
after this i would start at one full turn in from flush on bottom and 1 1/2 in on top
tune bottom to lean bog and then richen two hours then just tune top to power or temp u want to run if bottom tune is not spot on will never run proper also change glow plug to new one

I have had people tell me the older WERKS engines had some rod troubles back in the day.. Might just be a growing pain combined with that monster straight away you alll have..
