My car is planted but it feels lazy now. I also put the Losi BB springs on at the same time. I'll have to play with it more to see if it grows on me.

Hey guys i just went over the parts list for new sc10gt and noticed the nose piece(turns out not to be a new item but from gt2).

This would be an ideal part for anyone who wants to make custom Cf/Al chassis. Have to get myself one

That's the BB springs making it feel lazy. If you want that quicker reacting feeling again, run silver front springs and pink rear.

I was at EN Hobbies in Columbus doing some "tire testing". Basically I just put every tire combo I had on the car to see what each did. Barcodes on the front with CC foams had a big push but with stock foams they were pretty good on entry, predictable, and through the corner they worked great. I put some Rebars on with CC foams and no other changes and all of a sudden the car was loose. After really paying attention whenever the front end would dive, either throttle or bumps in the track, the tires would dig and make the rear wag.

That Carbon front tower looks trick! However I doubt there is much of a performance advantage...

Ftw body looks pretty funky...but like most things...to each his own

Not much of a performance change, but like I said, it was noticeable. And you can't beat the look and quality of it, right here in the USA!

ah, i kinda want my car landing smoother to keep it stable, the bb springs deff make it smoother but i would like a little more plush landing,

anybody using ghea pistons? tapered? i run on indoor smooth clay and outdoor smooth with some bumps, i think they should be pretty nice no?

I talked to a friend of mine about the Ghea pistons. He tried them in both his truck and buggy, tapered up and down and he noticed that they felt better in the truck. I think a lot of it comes down to track conditions and your own personal testing. Everyone is different so what may feel lazy or on edge with one, may feel insanely dialed to another!

I've run the flat Ghea pistons and from what I have noticed they feel a tad bit stiffer than the stock. Like a #2 ghea would be about a 2.5 AE. I measured the Ghea's against the stocks and the hole size is the same but the OD of the Ghea is slightly larger. Hopefully I can try out the tapers a bit this weekend.

i like to drive aggressive, its just the way i have learned. I may try the cheaper loss 56 piston first. I like to have different parts on my car, just because they are sweet

Anyone have the threaded V2 shocks from their worlds laying around they'd like to sell? PM me.

If you're running on a med to low grip surface and you have too many washers under your ballstuds what is the net effect of that?

Would that cause loss of grip?

I found out the guy I bought this from raced it on carpet and had doubled on washers everywhere LOL. I put it back to stock specs.

I'm hoping I have more grip all around. Still running stock chassis.

i threw in some red losi pistons and they are much smoother just from me pumping up the oil, shocks are sitting in stand right now, going to try stock springs. Looks like the car reacts much better with green/brown then orange and yellow though my car feels nice with em, the bb springs seem lazy.

Anyone got a good gear ratio starting point for a LRP x12 17.5 with 4 dot, blinky esc on med sized outdoor track?
