smh, you don't need a Hotwire for brake. Press mode until you get to BS (brake strength). Press the select button to set the amount of brake. The further to the right, the stronger the brakes.

p.s. You sponsored guys should know your equipment, whether it's from your sponsor or not.

Without the Hotwire, you get both, there are the 5 preset profiles and the 2 custom profiles that you set earlier. You don't need the Hotwire to access any of these. Just go to the TP value on the ESC. LEDs 1-5 are preset and 6 and 7 are custom boost profiles. For the most part, all stock (10.5 and slower) motors run similar profiles. Boost starting around 3k and ramping to max around 20-30k. I usually run a boost value of 60-85%. Beyond your 2 custom profiles you only need the Hotwire to set the "feel" of your ESC. I'll be there on Saturday with my Hotwire if you'd like me to give you a hand.

Nah, thanks though. I just set my brakes up earlier so i dont need help

Hotire seems pretty useless if you can have the ESC manually programmed. I always thought you needed the hotwire for certain options but I guess not.

You only need it to update the software, setup custom boosted profiles. It also lets you make smaller adjustments.

Both good platforms, if you ask me it's all in the driver. All of these vehicles are very equal to each other.
