A full 2s lipo is going to be 8.4v not 7.4, if I'm reading your post correctly.

And a heavy load can pull the packs voltage down to lvc even though the resting voltage of the pack is higher.

Where are you getting the 4.5v number from? I hope that's not your packs total voltage??

Maybe explain things a little better to help us understand, please.

Only use a lipo specific charger for your pack, any charger made for lipo should terminate charging at 8.4V, or 4.2V/cell. The pack will also appreciate if you run the cutoff up to at least 3.4V/cell. If your Sky lipo is at least 30C rated I know it is a very robust pack that should not allow the LVC to kick in with any reasonable setup.

the volts that im comeing up with is when i plug it back in to my charger, im useing a thunder ac6, on the battery it self its marked 7.4v and after around 5 min of run time, the truck will move for a few seconds stop and move for a few again, try to steer it the wheels barley turn, hope this will help, also if a 2s batt is 8.4v and mine is marked 7.4v should i try and charge it to 8.4 or is that a no no , also the batt says 2 cell 7.4v 5000mah 3dc continudus/6dc burts, again thanks for any help

A 2s lipo has a nominal voltage of 7.4v

When fully charged straight off the charger it will be 8.4v

Set your LVC at 3.5v / cell when your pack comes out of your car it should be around 7.4v

A resting voltage of 7.4v means the pack has roughly 20% left in it

When charging you should be adding around 80% of a packs listed capacity back in

5000mah sized pack - 4000mah added when charging

Allthough discharge is not linear here is a handy table to remember

Resting voltage vs Capacity

8.4v - 100%
8.26v - 90%
8.12v - 80%
7.98v - 70%
7.84v - 60%
7.70v - 50%
7.56v - 40%
7.42v - 30%
7.28v - 20%
7.14v - 10%
7.00v - 0%

Cheers
