Default Lipo????'s Please help!

I got out of r/c's about 3 yrs ago. I kept my charger which is a mrc super brain 989, It can charge 1-8cell lipos.

I just got a rustler vxl, and a truggy. I have a Venom 20c 7.4volt 5000mah lipo.

Now on my charger i would set it to 2 cells, 5000mah, and 5.0 amps? correct?

I also bought the rb 126 balancer which is the mrc accutec balancer, when charging the led that blinks is the cell that is being balanced?

yes thats correct..unless the battery has a 2c charge rate..if it is, you can charge at 10 amps.

imprtcrx,
Charge the 2S 5000mah at 5.0amps. I recommend 1C charge rate (1C in this case is 5.0amps) for all lipos for greatest life.

remember, C, being capacity/1000. So 5000mah/1000 = 5Ah, which helps you determine your charge rate.

So, 1C is 1x5.
