Ok either the motor is toast or I have a really untuned motor. Does anyone know what the factory hsn and lsn for a 2.6 team associated mgt. I read something that said to screw it all the way in and then turn both out 2 1/2 turns. I did that and the motor still will not start. Any suggestions would be helpful. I am going to buy a new glue plug to see if that will help. My plug does still light, but my ignitor is showing it in the red.

Charge your ignitor and see if that works, then, if it's still not working, try a new plug.

Make sure fuel is getting into the carb, you should be priming the carb upon first starting.

Make sure the air filter is clean and not caked with old fuel and dirt.

How old is your fuel? If it's old and hasn't been properly stored it could have gone bad.

These are just a few of the basic things you should do if you're having problems starting your engine. If, after you've tried all these sugegstions, it's still not working, then we're gonna need more info and discuss more advanced troubleshooting.

Carburetor Settings;
High Speed Needle: Turn clockwise until it bottoms out, then turn
counterclockwise 2-3/4 turns
Low Speed Needle: Turn clockwise until it bottoms out, then turn
counnterclockwise 6-1/4 turns
Idle Speed Screw: Turn until opening inside throttle valve is
.030" (0.7mm)

That should get you close, though it will be on the rich side. Double check your ignitor and glow plugs as stated above and also be sure fuel its making its way into the carburetor.
