anyone ever bought one from there? Making a order up wonder if i should get a servo with my order. Going to run a 4x4 slash might do some racing with it so want one good for that as well.

At least they're cheap.

I've have good luck with the exi metal gears, that's what I run and have no issues yet. Been running one in my truggy for over a year and its still good and centers also.

I just got a exi 227 in the other day, gonna try it in a 2wd slash running dirt oval. Haven't hooked it up yet but figured for $15 it was worth a shot.

I did get one of those mini video cameras for $21 too. Tried it out yesterday inside my sc10, and I have to say it has to be the coolest $21 I have ever spent. Has pretty good video and is awesome being able to feel what its like actually looking through the windshield while running around.

I have been running EXI servo's in all my vehicles nitro and electric, I decided to try to go to one brand in all my cars and since the EXI were so cheap I could afford to. But after a season I had mixed results...I ran the 180oz D226 in my 1/8 buggy and truggy for steering and the faster D227 for my throttle...they operated fine no glitches or anything in my nitros...but they didnt make a season and both steering servos were shot, one would not center well the other stripped out a gear, but threw in another set and finished out the summer.....both broken servos took some good hits and for $15 isnt bad, I race for fun so it wasnt a big deal to get a DNF or two, but if you are more competitive go for a better servo. both throttle servos survived fine.

In my electrics they were more trouble, I ran D226 in my SC10, T4 and 2 sedans.... I had to add a BEC to most my cars or the servos would sporatically glitch and go twitchy, the glitch buster caps solved it 95% of the time...once I added BECS no more glitches, but sometims the servo would not power up correctly.

About 50% of the time I would plug in my battery and my ESC would work fine but not the servo, no steering at all, If i unplugged the battery one or two more times it would eventually come online and operate...I tried different receivers, radio, ESC everything to try to figure it out but in the end I went to a different servo and never had the issue again, put in an EXI in an extra car in a pinch and it would fail to work again. My buddy needed some servos so I gave him all my EXI for him to try the EXI servo's in his cars with totally different ESC's and Radio systems and he experienced the no steering occasionally but not near as often as I did

So for a basher or a guy on a budget the EXI work out fine for $15....I ended up going all Savox at the end of summer last year and so far they have all been flawless....1256tg & 1257tg in my 1/8 nitros and 0251mg in my monster and bigger 1/10 due to the sevo sizs they dont fit in everything size and 0252mg and 0254mg in my 1/10 depending on the speed I wanted.

The 0251mg, 0252mg and 0254mg are about $35 and worth the extra $ in my opinion over the EXI

the 1257 and 1256 are closer to $70-$80 but comparatively still relatively cheap vs others.

It was much more expensive and I had to do it over a few months but I am now all Savox and happy with the performance, I was able to take the BEC's off all my electrics, they worked fine without it but I kept the glitch buster caps installed just in case.
