I don't do any of the portrait shots or scenic stuff. I stick with sports and such. I have been doing high school wrestling since my son has been wrestling the last few years, as well as the lower grade football. The sophomore, freshman, and jv. So far that is about it.

Your football pics reminded me of this one that I took of my friend's son.

I like doing the lower class ones since we still know some of them. It is so much easier to get down on the field with them as well. That wrestling one is pretty rough. I had to take it half way up the bleachers and flash was not going to get there. I have some better ones where I was allowed to get down on the floor close.

That one was from the top row of the bleachers and no flash. Not sure about other places, but there's a "No Flash" rule here for HS football games. I actually was there to see my son play, but he never got to play. I took this pic not even realizing that it was my buddy's kid until he asked my later if I saw "that great catch".

I like to take the camera with whenever I leave the house for any event. You never know what you might see. The racing pictures I posted before are the reason I bought the camera in the first place.

I actually started to photo and video my kid but did not get into doing the racing photos until my son-in-law's brother brought me to some of his races. I now just do it for fun and practice. The outdoor races are pretty easy to set your camera up to point and shoot. The indoor races are a great challenge due to the lighting and trying to catch them clearly when they fly around that track. I have my hobbytown setting pretty well locked in but the other races the lighting is much, much darker and the cars are twice as fast.

All very nice stuff though!

I shoot a lot of motorcycle events. Here are some samples.

There are some amazing shots here on this thread. I'm still trying to figure out how to use my camera. I mostly use it in auto but will eventually test different settings and exposures in the future. Here are some shots of the Colorado National Monument. Its about a 20 minute drive from my place in Grand Junction CO.

I do have dust on my sensor that is showing up on some of the pictures. It has been there since the camera was new. Canon T1i with kit lenses.
