Go with the Associated. My car has never felt better. And they are the fastest on the track. All top 4 in yesterdays race. Mark was hitting 14.0's Alex was hitting 14.0's Josh hit a 14.2 and I hit a 14.0. But i hear the durango is good also.

and it is not about the fastest lap but the most consistent laps I'n the main.
B44.1 is a fast car - NO DOUBT. BUT Taco will do better with a more durable car. The diff gears in the B44 are prone to stripping, the ball diffs need continuous maintenence & the A-arms are fragile. None of which bodes well for the Taco driving style or maintenence history ( sorry Derek). The Durango has major beef in the a-arms & has front & rear gear diffs. In the long run - a better choice for him ( & me for that matter, that's why I bought mine!!!) Just my umpteen years of RC experience - yes, I'm OLD, I admit it!! LOL
to correct you mine was a 14.1 and i don't remebe Alex or mark hitting a 14.0 not trying to be mean to alex or mark i just didnt see you guys hit those laps in the heats or the mains and you don't have to keep slyley braging

Half people here are gonna say LRP and half are gonna say Sonic. The Reedy is the newest one out there from the Associated team. Maifield was running LRP but switched to Reedy. Most everyone that was running LRP is now running the Reedy motor. I love mine. Really smooth power.
