if i buy a slash 2wd what are the the first things i should upgrade to rpm parts and what kind of wheels should i get for offroading that will supply good enough grip in loose dirt areas and rough home made tracks??

I have a 2wd slash and the 1st things I changed was arms and skidplates. I now have RPM arms, shock mounts, skidplates, bumpers, and hub carriers. I also upgraded the steering bellcrank to aluminum with bearings. As far as tires the stock BFGs work great for bashing but I have a set of subcultures and calibers for the track. Also you are gonna want to change the springs on the shocks. Next is gonna be aluminum shock caps for me. You will hear a bunch of info but this is what I have done to mine. Hope this helps...

I have RPM arms on my Slash, they are worth it. As for tires, our track is hard packed with a little loose dirt on top, AKA Enduros all the way around or AKA Gridirons in the front and Proline Bowfighters in the rear work real well.
