Better jumps landing, jumps way better, is way more stable, more consistent, easier to drive faster.

What kind of track are you going to be running on? I don't have the 8+ chassis for the simple reason that the track I run on 95% of the time is small and tight. If this is the case, then the standard chassis will work fine for you. Just a thought, and might save you some $$ you could spend elsewhere.

That was my thought save money, the indoor track for winter is PRCR so smaller and tight (selling my SCTE just to big for the track) outside summer will be a bit bigger. I never had an issue with the B4 i used to run.

Not when I'm doin work with the standard chassis. Until people start giving me a beatdown with the 8+ i'm stayin with what works.

Oh and the new paint via Liquid Illuzions on the ride. Quick, and crappy cell pic.

Right now I am running the B44 FT alum rear hubs and graphite C towers on 8mm chassis and they work great. My question is has anybody tried the the STRC alum hubs? Just thinking of building another B4.1 with my old stock chassis and parts but in another color than the tired AE blue.

I started running a +8 car on an extremely tight and small track recently, and I know from the little bit of testing I've done that you CAN make the car turn well. Just have to change the setup some to get it around tight corners.

+8mm chassis is a cheap $25-$35 upgrade. Probably one of the best upgrades, and the biggest part of the car. Cant really ask better than that.

Cheers

I just picked up a standard ftb4.1, is the 8mm chassis just the t4 chassis?

This may sound stupid but, what are the CF hubs? Are they just the standard old hubs or do you mean the CF pieces on the aluminum hubs? Also what do you mean by shaving the U brace?

Sorry i don't understand this but I mainly run 1/8 and I am new to this car all together.
