Default Single large power cap or multiple small caps ?

with would be better
running a single large capacitor like this one

http://v2.teamnovak.com/products/ind...roducts_id=444

http://v2.teamnovak.com/products/ind...roducts_id=476

or multiple small capacitors in series likes theses

http://www.nitrorcx.com/xerun-series-car-esc.html

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-74V-Capacitor

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-74V-Capacitor

any guidance would be appreciated

As long as the overall capacitance is the same you won't notice a difference.

Hello from Lithuania. Help needed. My HW Xerun 150a ESC stopped working after using it in Savage Flux XL with 2200kv Mamba Monster engine and 2x 3s Turnigy 5000mah batteries. After disassembling it, 3 capasitors were bulged (Had to replace them), and one thing exploaded (Showed in the photograph). Does anybody know, is it a capasitor or a diode? postimg_.org/_image/_5hk5jcx6t/ (delete all _)

That looks like a diode. Is that adhesive residue on the transistors, or has everything cratered?

Also, that diode marked PJ1329 appears to have lifted traces all around it.

I'm thinking that board is mostly cooked.

Transistors are fine, so is the board. I forgot to tell you that, when I turn on the ESC, my servo works fine, there is just no sound and the LED does not blink.
