The main cost of racing isn't in the purchase of the actual car though. That is a small investment compaired to batteries, tyres, motors etc. Even at twice the price of a Losi it isn't all that expensive.

People want something different as well and this combines some of the attributes of cars that people want these days (primarily shaft drive). At the moment its a bit of a losiathon in 4wd...

$110US more than XXX-4 G+
Then you pay $60 for the 1-way so it's only $50 more than the losi.
You are buying quality with alot of the AE drivers over in america converting. Plus the TC3 drive train makes it a LAND MISSILE.

oldskool- It is getting better all the time, but for the meantime its a little like racing on the granite tracks we had 10 years ago. Not the crappy ones. with a sweep there is some pretty good grip. Biggest problem they have had is trying to track down quality clay, at the moment around here, you cant even buy it.

andrew- will it be here in time for keilor this weekend? I am running the yokomo....

matt,
I dont think it will be here by the weekend, jason packed it on monday and shipped it on tuesday, and was shipped by 4-7 day post. So if any thing i'll get it on monday.
If by some freak chance i get it on friday, i'll do by best to do a quality build in 2 days and get it race ready. If not, i'll just race 2wd.
You coming down sat or early sun, weather it going to be good for sunday.

oldskool- entry forms will be sent out. you can rock up on the day, but we would prefer entries being sent in to make it easier to organise.

The BJ4x4 has just won the stock nationals over in the US with the TQ and the win. With 6 BJ4x4 in attendance 4 make the A-main with Rod Rippie TQ'ing and taking the win in the first 2 mains. Over all BJ's placed 1st, 3rd, 6th and 10th with the two other BJ's taking 1st and 2nd in the B-main.

hahahaah, kovac's gets tripped out when you show him a diff, of course he would hospitalise himself.

Nah my Haemophilia has hit me hard and i have a bleed in the muscle that supports mustomach and around my spleen, about the size of a large orange. Basically a blood mass the size of an orange inside of me.Haemophilia for those of you who dont know is when the blood doesn't clot and you can internally bleed, thats why i am in my wheel chair alot.

Nah i got dad to bring in the car and my tool box so i could build the car in here to keep me occupied, lol, you think the endless dvd and video collection and the wireless internet would keep me occupied but i couldn't just sit here with the car at home and do nothin.

Andrew,

Pleased to hear the car has come together well.

Will you be coming up to the NSW titles? If you do it will likely be the only BJ there as I don't think any of the NSW guys will have theirs by then!

Cheers,
Scotty P.
