Default Lipo power a brushed system?

Can a lipo battery power an older brushed system motor and Esc?

sure can, 2s lipo is roughly the same performance as a 7-cell nimh pack.

Be careful with running the voltage too low!!! An aftermarket low voltage cut-off if HIGHLY recommended.

To be more specific, you really, really should buy this if you want to run lipos in an older setup.
