you are very close to my local track conditions, V2 did nothing but make me mad every time I used them. They do work great outdoors though.

Our local indoor track is flipouts and rips... too much loose stuff in spots for barcode type tires and it's not the typical "indoor" clay/dirt. More of an outdoor mix.

I switched from silver/pink springs over to orange/yellow last night. Also running 32.5 / 30 with 2 pistons now. not sure if I am going to stay here or not. The car seemed to bounce around alot with silver/pink. Was better with Orange/Yellow, but still had some bounce to it.

Here's a decent pic of our track on this post

At Trcr ?

Not uncommon to see many using Pink Bk Losi when the track is a fresh rebuild , but just after a few race days ?

JConcepts come on hard everyone switches to the JC ...

I don't think it would fair for me say the Bk "suck" . Just sometimes some tires perform better then others under certain track conditions...

Knowing when to use each type of tire is the key ....

I've experimented with cutting the outside ribs on front barcodes off with scissors, seemed like they entered the corner a tiny bit slower but everywhere else the same, but the pair that i cut were using cut rear foams and my regular pair has proline blue closed cell foams, i prefer the closed cell for more steering(I haven't tried cutting the rib and using closed cell though)

Does anybody know if I have to buy the strap with the +8mm chassis? Will a T4 strap work?

Well they came in today, I guess the Shuey use's a drive pin in the front and not bearings in the wheels like the associated. looks like the rears fit ok tho.

should have just bought the tires and glued them up myself, lesson learned.

the t4 strap will not work..If I remember correctly it's longer in the front of the strap instead of the back

When you buy the kit, you will get the chassis, strap and extra foam.

Cheers

Hi all. Im seriously considering getting into 10th scale electric to go along with my 8th scale nitro racing. I'm thinking about buying a b4.1 rtr that tower has a 3 easy pay plan just to get my feet wet and I'd hop it up little by little. What I wanted to know is this rtr durable and is the reedy motor that comes with it decent or would I be better off just buying the hoped up version and not waste my time and money? I do plan on racing it but not no where as much as I do my 8th scale nitro to start off with. Any suggestions and advice would be much appreciated and thanks in advance.
