Default orion

Looking at different esc's and motors. How are the orions and where do you get them? Horizon shows to be there supplier but they don't have many of there products.

Their R10 Pro is simply the smoothest, and ultimately, since lap times don't lie, the fastest ESC I've owned. Speedtech has them in stock

As far as motors go, I honestly haven't seen that big a difference between brands of motors as I have ESC's.

Does anyone have experience with their customer service? I've heard that if something breaks on you, you're out of luck. I'm thinking about making the switch to Orion too but am skeptical from what I hear.

From what I understand, much like LRP, they don't service them in the U.S. - you just get a new one if it's under warranty. How long that takes will vary on their inventory and so on. FWIW, I race at an "Orion track", that is, the R10 is now in @75% of the cars there and I have yet (knock on wood) to see a single one go out and they're being ran in everything from stock buggies to 4wd SC trucks.
