You really think you can run limiters on that?? lol
Yup, with no problems at all. I'm telling you, you are doubting your car

Here's one of our indoor tracks before it had heat. No groove really there yet. I'll get more video this weekend with the new layout.

Why not just use 2-stage pistons from RPM or RCSHOX? That's what I do, and am quite pleased with the results.

The track you posted is really not that bad compared to what a lot of people race on. Run the setup just as Bob posted it and you should have a much easier time with the car!

Dont get me wrong... i wasnt trying to bash the track in anyway. The guys have busted tail on putting it together and im just grateful to have something that nice close for me to run on!

It IS however the roughest track i have ever had to run a 2wd buggy on... and ive run a lap or two over the years.

Ill run it for sure. Aint nothin but a lil shock oil and wrench time...

I'm sorry to back to it but I didn't quite understand the spacer, o-ring combination. If I use the white spacer and these o-rings http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/117/3464/=fr5ctv #90025k123, will that work?

Default Shock cap o-rings

Has anyone found aftermarket o-rings for the top of the shock/shock cap. There are no issues with the AE ones but if I would like to find them in bulk somewhere (McMaster) to save some cash and not always be out of them?

That's what I have been told but have yet to find a shop that has a tower with a 4th hole. I even ordered one directly from AE and it only had the standard 3 holes

yeah what they did was drill a hole further inside and remove the outside hole since everyone was cutting it off anyway. So they will all have 3 holes

All of the new plastic rear towers have the new 1 hole location moved and and removed the old 3 hole location. However, the carbon towers are still from the old mold and would require drilling to have the same inner hole that is found on the B4.1 / WE.

Who wants to talk springs and shock pistons? I'll start with a couple questions..

1- Which characteristics does going to a stiffer or softer rear spring change? same with the front. I've been toying with rear springs to add or remove steering, rear end is almost always controllable. I tried yellow BB losi rear and orange front, ended up with silver losi front and kyosho dark blue rear. The losi BB pink rear seemed too stiff, i went to middle on the rear shock tower with the kyosho dark blue to stiffen them up also.

2-Shock pistons. Anyone running the RCshox 2 stage pistons? i'm ay 27.5f and 32.5R(yes heavier in rear..for now) with them, it's the most forgiving setup i've ran yet, but still not fast enough to finish in the top 3(my lack of driving skills aside).

My "local" track is medium traction moist red clay, has more grip than any other clay track i've ran. The fast guys have very basic setups, green springs rear and brown front, etc...I'm trying to get an edge here but with the track being almost 2 hours away, weekends are my only practice time...I usually make a couple changes before going to the track again and struggle to feel ready for the main. Thanks for the help guys.

I understand your plight. I have tried RC Shox pistons in my B4 and had good results, in particular in my medium sized backyard track. It's rough, gnarly, low grip and usually dry. Two stage pistons can help in certain situations but practice/track time is the key. If you find a way to make the podium let me know. I would love to know how to do it.

i cant find the pic right now,but we run on a track with holes big enough that swallow the whole 1/10 scale car and barely can see the top of sc truck. that set up and the car are more forgiving than u will think and will handle better for the bumps and jumps.
