Anybody try big boar kyosho springs? What rates and how do they compare to the Losi? I Lent my conversion parts to someone and going back hurts, dark yellow kyosho are much better than stock. A.e springs feel week.
I was running silver losi front, pink rear most are using white. I loved it.

I have been running silver fronts now but was using yellow rears because the track still didn't have much bite. Tried pink rears last night on a whim and my car was awesome. Easily the best I have ever felt a car drive. I had a rough night overall but it had nothing to do with the car. It was on point and was very very good.
I think the next thing I am going to do is try zero anti-squat since this is a fairly rough track. I would like to see how it feels compared to the same setup I have now.

Island raceway is smooth, med high bite but many who still use stock springs went to black and were amazed the car was easier to drive....not for me it was slow. I also liked pink were guys liked white. I like to have good steering tho, rear bite isnt as important as long as my car can stay in the line with good traction I'm happy.

I was running yellow. Pinks locked the rear in more...... Total opposite of what I expected. I think we are getting a new layout next time in and that means a green track again so I just may try orange / yellow. I do wanna throw in a set of 55's in the rears though. I keep forgetting to do that.

I recently caught up with a old racing buddy that used to run for losi back in the day. He is older now but still has many industry and team contacts and has gotten back into racing and runs a b4 and is trying out the Durango. We got to talking and I am in for a new kit soon ( still running the old B4 not B4.1) and he said wait. I asked why and he said he has heard strong rumors of a "worlds car" with big bores and the +8 chassis and all the other bells and whistles. Has this already been discussed or has anyone heard something similar?

And like I said, that's just a guess. Bottom line is you will always be waiting for something new because thats what we do.... we constantly try to make it go quicker. If you aren't up for buying a new kit, look for someone here selling one or just slap a +8mm chassis on your B4 and run it. It will still do well.

carbon = less flex = less traction so I'm not sure you will see all of that. That's the beauty of this car......it has options. you can run plastic or carbon depending on what you need for the track
