Replace the B4.1 lower spring cups with the older B4 spring cups (less offset) at the rear - lets you run a lower ride height if you need to.

If you are running the plastic hubs from the original b4 (outer bearing is small) then yes you need a different crush tube as nhraman linked below.

Whichever you are using, if there is a grinding sound, check that the bearings themselves arent damaged and that you have the correct tube installed.

Thanks Ray! I thought they were from B4 but they are B44's, with big outer bearing. So my tubes are ok, i need to find the source of the sound.

I wouldn't say it's wrong there's an * saying that the ratios are intended for boosted esc settings. At the same time they don't specify an esc or boost level...

What is wrong is the pinon if you look at the fdr next to it the pinon size is off by 8 or 9 teeth lol

ok, my bad..I never look at FDR, I see the purpose when comparing gear ratios on cars with different tranny ratios but other than that it's just not needed..for me.

on road and factoring in roll out is a different story.

got my +8 b4.1 last night....got a great deal on a 2 race old car for $160, still looks brand new.

Does anyone run a xp1313 in their ae car? I know most probably opt for the 1015 or faster, just curious if anyone was using one as it's what I have as of right now.

last night ran my b4.1. i lent some losi springs to a racer and threw on dk yellow all around. Car was alright, changed some settings since track was dry all during practice. Come races they soaked the track which was not bad in the first but the last 2 quals were slippery as hell and it was not only me who said so.

Any tips on when they wet the track on setup? diff settings. Luckily I got the win in the a main but i did not feel confident driving my car at all.

Sometimes if it is wet enough ..

use a different Tire grip with Oil of Winter Green included or even no grip compound at all....

WTG on the win !

Can you use the stock CF battery plate with the +8 chassis or do you need the combo.
