Good charging set up?

When charging a 4s 5000mah with that charger he could probably get 6a out of it because of the low watt limit. Technically that does fall within his original requirement but later on in the thread he talks about getting a second charger.

My brother-in-law had that charger and didn't like it since it lacked a storage mode for lipo.

If the charger has a 100 watt charge limit
At the start of the charge cycle you may indeed see 8 amps
100w / 12v = 8.33 amps theoretical maximum (obviously limited to 8 amps)
However at the end of the charge cycle you will not
100w / 16.8v = 5.95 amps
From storage voltage 3.85v / cell you will only see a maximum of 6.5 amps
100w / 15.4v
For the price of that charger he could pick up one (and a separate PS) that is capable of double that output

Will charge a 5000mah sized 4s pack at 10 amps
Cheers

I suggest buying a high end charger once and be done with it.
Im running the TP820 in the field while the 610 ac/dc is in my pitbox for backup.
Im running the hobbypartz power supply also.

Also keep in mind, that battery capacity are likely to oncrease (as that what history have shown the last years... We already have 6000+ mAh). So later on 2C might equal 14 amps... So it might be an idea to get a power supply with plenty of amps up front.
