What engine are you using the 204/2087 on? I use the WS7III in buggy, 192/2045, I like that. What is power like with 192/2087 on C6 in truck?

Im putting together a motor with C6 crank and case with a WS7III piston and sleeve, should be the same as the F 11. Chris are you coming to the Nitro Challenge in Phoenix in February? You have to make the Nitro Challenge, Joey Christianson, from The Dirt Racing, his 12 annual.

I have ran the 2087 pipe and 204 header with the B11, the F11, and the C6USA. The 2087 pipe is actually a shorter pipe than the 2045. It is a lot of bottom end and way to much for buggy but I am also racing at 6,000 feet elevation so the power you would feel would be considerably more. I never tried the plain C6 with a 2087 but at your elevation I bet it would be just fine with a 192/2087 combo in truck.

I doubt I will make the Nitro Challenge this year. I was there for Nitro Challenge 10 a few years back. (The year before the 12 pack) Work has been crazy for me lately so getting that much time off probably isn't gona fly.

I am not sure how that hybrid motor is gona work for ya.. While the WS7 is a 7 port with many of the same port configurations they share a different bore and stroke. The C6 crank pin placement is most likely what changes the stroke as they do share the same rod. Also with the different bore I am not sure the sleeve will fit in the case unless you have already tried it. If it does all fit the C6 crank may push the piston too far up in the WS7 sleeve.

It should work with the WS7, the crank for the F11, is a C6 crank, the Piston and sleeve is a 7 port, the same specs as the F11, I haven't checked with a caliper yet, I'll check the deck height also, and let you know.

Yeah see I think your problem is going to be the crank. That F11 crank is the same as a C6 crank. The crank is what alters the stroke between the F11 and B6 from the WS7 engines. The WS7 engines had a square stroke so having a long stroke engines crank pushing on a short stroke engines internals is going to have all of your timing out of wack and may push the piston too far up in the sleeve. C6/F11 = 16.80mm stroke the WS7 engines had a 16.42mm stroke. With these number differences the ports are probably placed slightly different on the WS7 sleeve vs the F11.

And yes the sleeve is a 7 port like the F11 but the F11 sleeve has a bore 16.22mm and the bore of the WS7 was 16.42 .... anything is possible but those are two totally different engines and it could be risky.

Yes, your right, I will look it over very well before I put together a bomb. I have an article of somebody that did assemble this mix, supposedly, ran like a bat out of hell!

Anybody have a recommendation for a pipe on a USA edition 5 port? I am getting ready to break one in and would like to match it up with the right pipe/header.

Go with the RB 2045 pipe, with the 192 header. That combo works well with all the RB engines.

When you say USA edition 5 port.... Is this a C6USA?? That would be my favorite engine of all time

No, its a little budget 5 port. Its the old case, 13 mm crank, short stroke. Basically the old s5.

Ahhh yes. An S5 was my very first RB!! I remember back then the cars weighed a ton and those S5's required every bit of power to get the car around well. I bet with the newer lighter cars that engines is awesome!!

I agree. They were great on the top end but lacked a little on bottom. I plan on putting a turbo button, ceramic bearings , and a mod job from a friend and she should rip. I have a friend that made me some nasty s7's back in the days. Any ideas on a pipe/header? I used to run the JP2's with success but was wondering what in the rb or anybody elses line up would work.

The 2045 will work pretty well and should get the best fuel mileage. I was never a fan of the JP pipes because I would always get terrible mileage with them. The 2058 pipe and header set from LM makes some really good power as well. the 9886/086 pipes and the 053 pipes should also work quite well.
