why cant you buy a new gear set and fix them they do hold up most of the time it is the sub c gear that goes out on them if it the circuit board or motor then it done with i would look at i might be a 2 dollar part. but these savox servo are cheap and they work great too give them a try if you dont want to spend 150 on another futaba

I like to use the hobbico cs-170 or the hitec 7954 servos in my 1/8th scale stuff. The cs-170 is a little slower and on really tight tracks you can notice the slower response but both work great. Both are in the $80 to $90 dollar range. I think the 170 has [email protected] and the 7954 is around [email protected]. Many of the other guys at the track run the 7955 but I think they cost over $100.
