What kind of repair? If it's just a broken wire, do a google for AMB repair. There's a thred on here that shows step by step how to open and repair with a thicker wire. I did it 2 years ago and have not had any more issues.
I did the same. I removed the original cover, replaced the wires and then covered it again with thick shrink wrap. Has been working since (almost 2 years now too).
