But if you run your front end wider than 1.5mm shimmed at arm u will break blades all day unless you run:
1- locked multidiff (fragile outdrives)
2- flyfox 50mm spool out drives (beefcake!)
I always run my front end at 2.25mm and I never have an issue with breaking blades.
