You have exactly the same problem as me! I have the FW-05 with RR engine and JPL pipe and I cant get the engine to revo out. I get blown away down the straight.
What fuel and plug are you running?
I was going to try another engine to see if it was the engine or the car is dragging at high speeds.

If you cannot get the engine to rev out, it might be the pipe. Try the Kyosho pipe. Works great for me.
